have knives, will travelInsured new-school personal chef and offbeat catering business came about in 2011 as a lean startup with a commissary kitchen. Bringing 12 years of industry experience, we serve individuals, families, businesses, organizations and groups in Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
While we accept clients from all walks of life, we are proud to be one of the very few specializing in health food that's also scrumptious. Our founding chef consults and cooks for busy new mothers and those determined to eat themselves thin and individuals with special-diet needs because of a lifestyle choice, illness or allergy. We have experience with vegan, vegetarian, raw, paleo, diabetic, cancer-fighting, gluten-free, lactose-free, soy-free and kosher foods. Unlike conventional caterers, we charge on grocery (unless provided by client) plus reasonable hourly rate basis. We cook in residential, vacation homes and at event venues. As for catering, we do small and large events: luncheons, birthdays, romantic dinners, weddings, graduation parties, family reunions, picnics and holiday celebrations., etc. Delivery or pick-up options available for buffet-style lunch and dinner. Service staff is available. real food comes ............. naturally |

Our ingredients are non GMO, antibiotic free, hormone free, additive free and preservative free. We do not use corn-derived products and artificial colors. We buy organic when possible. In Pittsburgh, we source locally from Clarion River Organics, Penn's Corner Farm Alliance, Mott Family Farm, Farmers @ Firehouse and East End Food Coop. In DC, we order from Tuscarora Organic Growers, Local Harvest and shop at area farmers markets. We use Produce Shopper Guide by Environmental Working Group and Smart Seafood Guide by Food & Water Watch and almost know them by heart.
We stand behind our quality so If you're shopping dollar, you won't find it here. If a caterer is willing to provide a buffet dinner that includes 10 items for the price of fast food lunch, imagine what kind of cheap, inferior products are used to make the "food" served for your very special occasion.
